Learn to Lead

Leadership starts with being able to lead yourself before you can start to lead others. Followers will be willing to follow you because you leave a positive influence on them. To be an effective leader, you need to continually develop yourself no matter the cost. High quality leadership entails empowering others to exercise their huge potential for the benefit of the team they lead. A leader’s aim should be to produce a lasting legacy; one that leaves a lasting impression on the lives of others. Followers have to trust you as a leader and trust has to be earned from one’s actions. Just because you have a title doesn’t make you a leader.
